2013-14 Preseason All-ACC Team
C.J. Fair, Syracuse
Joe Harris, Virginia
Rodney Hood, Duke
Jerian Grant, Notre Dame
Jabari Parker, Duke
ACC Preseason Player of the Year
C.J. Fair, Syracuse
ACC Rookie of the Year
Jabari Parker, Duke
Third place four UNC sounds about right given the new strength of the ACC. No Tar Heels were named to the All-ACC first team which is also not surprising since there is also a greater depth of talent in the league. Also, no one knows what P.J. Hairston's availability will be and voters are tired of waiting for James Michael McAdoo to finally arrive. That probably means he actually will this season.
The inclusion of Duke's Jabari Parker and Rodney Hood are interesting since neither have played a game in the ACC yet. They are both advertised to be very good so that is a pair worth watching to see if they live up to the hype.
