Game Thread: UNC-Holy Cross

North Carolina vs Holy Cross, 8:00 PM, ESPNU

The second game of the season and the second game with the Tar Heels operating with complete uncertainty with how the rest of the season since two key players are still awaiting their fate from the NCAA. On the upside this continues to be a learning opportunity for the players who are getting minutes they may not have otherwise gotten. If UNC does get both P.J. Hairston and Leslie McDonald back, the overall team will be better with Nate Britt and J.P. Tokoto getting experience now. If not, at least no one will be complete flatfooted when whatever resolution finally occurs.
