Game Thread: UNC-Wake Forest

North Carolina vs Wake Forest, 8:00 PM, ESPNU

There is nothing like ACC play or conference play in general. The non-conference serves as a nice warm-up where the team and players get a feel for their potential. Entering conference play is a little like heading into the NCAA Tournament in this sense. All that matters is if you win. There is somewhat less concern for style points and while the season doesn't end with a loss, the stakes are plenty high.
