The big game of the day is Notre Dame vs Florida state which hearkens back to the match-up between these two teams in 1993. I was a freshman in college when that game happened and recall watching it in the lounge in Hinshaw Dormitory at UNCG since that was the only place in the building that had a good TV to watch the game on. Of course the more interesting debate came after the game when Notre Dame lost to Boston College setting off a controversy regarding which team should be #1. FSU eventually got the nod and the national title that season.
