UNC Media Day Audio

UNC coach Roy Williams and the players met with the media on Wednesday to discuss the start of practice and the upcoming season.The freshman players, per UNC tradition, were not available to the media but that didn't stop Theo Pinson from hovering over the reporters while Marcus Paige spoke to the media. Pinson continues to be completely comfortable being in the spotlight and will undoubtedly be a sought after interview once the freshman embargo is lifted.

Much of the focus today was on the development of the freshmen, having returning players step up into key roles and bringing the pieces together with a state goal of making a run at the Final Four. Williams did reflect a little on the past few seasons of adversity.
