Some notes and highlights of the Tar Heels' 45-20 win over Duke courtesy of UNC.
-This is UNC's first win over a ranked team since 2010 when the Heels knocked off Florida State in Tallahassee.
-Marquise Williams continues to assault the UNC record book. Here are the records Williams set during the Duke game.
Williams set a new single season record for total offense eclipsing Bryn Renner's mark of 3,394 yards. Williams now has 3,499 yards of total offense this season with one regular season game remaining.
Renner's total touchdown mark also fell to Williams. The Charlotte junior has 20 passing and 12 rushing touchdowns on the season for a total of 32 with one game to go.
Williams 531 plays is the most in a season for a Tar Heel passing T.J. Yates who accounted for 501 plays in 2010.
-Quinshad Davis needs to just one touchdown to tie Hakeem Nicks for career receiving TDs.
-UNC has scored 40 or more points in 15 of 36 games under Larry Fedora and 6 of 11 games this season.
