Summer Interviews: Marcus Paige and Nate Britt

Kevin Jairaj-USA TODAY Sports

The UNC basketball summer interview tour continued today with Nate Britt and Marcus Paige briefing the media on what they've been doing since the end of the 2013-14 season.

Obviously the biggest question for Nate Britt was why he switched shooting hands. Britt played last season using his left hand to shoot. A few weeks ago he decided to change to his right hand which he says is more comfortable for him. The result has been(according to Marcus Paige) a smoother shot. The hitch seen when shooting left-handed is not present with the right-handed shot. The hope is Britt's shot will improve as a sophomore and by all accounts he feels more comfortable using the right hand despite being a natural left.

Paige also met with the media and despite claims of being rusty, his media session was incredibly in-depth. To do it justice here are a collection of tweets from the assembled media at the Dean Smith Center.

As is usually the case, Paige was very informative and paints the picture of a team with the potential for a special season. If the junior guard can improve on what he did a year ago plus gets significant help from his teammates, UNC will be primed for a run at the Final Four and maybe a title.
