UNC playing in an opener away from Chapel Hill and without the starting point guard? What could go wrong? This kind of situation often brings up painful reminders of the loss to Santa Clara to open the 2004-05 season. The comfort here is UNC's stable of backup point guards are probably a tad better than a wide eyed Quentin Thomas was in his first college game.

Despite missing Paige, UNC should have plenty of weapons to handle Temple though it probably won't be the prettiest game in the world.
