These two teams met last season in the Bahamas with UNC rolling to a 78-56 win. The Tar Heels had lost to Butler the day before and Roy Williams shuffled the lineup starting Joel James, Isaiah Hicks and Nate Britt in place of Kennedy Meeks, Brice Johnson and J.P. Tokoto. Marcus Paige scored 21 points and Isaiah Hicks had 10 points in his first start.

UCLA already avenged one embarrassing loss from last season in knocking off Kentucky. The Bruins will try to do the same here though this game is on a neutral court. This is a game UNC can and should win even minus Kennedy Meeks. Unfortunately, the Tar Heels haven't always been consistent in handling these types of games in recent years.
