A Few More Dean Smith Tributes

And the stream of tributes for Dean Smith continues.

WRAL did a televised special on Dean Smith on Monday night which can be found in it's entirety here. Former WRAL sports anchors Tom Suiter and Bob Holliday share what it was like for them to cover Smith.

On 99.9 The Fan David Glenn talked with President Barack Obama about Dean Smith's legacy.

WTVD's brief feature on Dean Smith has Eric Montross recounting an interesting story about Brian Reese stepping on the sideline in practice which also happened in the 1993 NCAA title game.


And Monday night on Roy Williams' weekly radio show, the current Tar Heel head coach remembered his mentor and friend along with Eric Montross, Antawn Jamison, John Swofford, Phil Ford and King Rice. Also included are audio of Woody Durham calling some of Dean Smith's greatest moments on the court.
