UNC capped off a perfect 5-0 week including a sweep of Boston College over the weekend that say the Tar Heels give up one run over a three day stretch.
Tuesday: Campbell W 8-3
A two run double from Korey Dunbar keyed a four run fifth inning to erase a 3-2 Camels lead and send UNC to a 8-3 win over Campbell. Benton Moss, who was unable to start in the series finale versus Virginia Tech two days earlier due to a rainout, pitched 4.2 innings giving up a pair of earned runs. Trevor Kelley closed out the game with 4.1 shutout innings.

Extra innings was the order of the day as the Tar Heels squandered an early 5-1 lead before pulling out a 6-5 in a rare midweek road game. After a flurry of scoring through the first four innings to leave the game tied at 5-5, both teams settled into a pitcher's duel until the 12th. Tyler Ramirez scored on a UNCW balk to give UNC a 6-5 lead in the 12th. Tyler Thornton closed the game out for his third win of the season.
Friday: Boston College W 1-0
Zac Gallen face just two over the minimum through eight innings then pitched out of a bases loaded jam in the 9th for his second straight complete game at home. Neither team was able to muster much offense with the only run of the game coming on a base loaded walk to Tar Heel Logan Warmoth in the 2nd inning. The Eagles threatened to tie the game in the sixth when Scott Braren advance to third on a single, sac bunt and wild pitch. Warmoth gunned Braren down at the plate to preserve the lead.
Gallen cruised until the ninth when a pair of walks and a single loaded the bases with two outs. Donovan Casey sent a grounder to the first base side where Joe Dudek made a backhanded stop and then barely won the foot race to the bag to end the game.
Saturday: Boston College W 6-1
Freshman J.B. Bukauskas struck out eight and gave up just three hits in seven shutout innings as the Tar Heels clinched the series with a 6-1 win over the Eagles in a game that started at 10:30 AM to avoid rain. Landon Lassiter recorded a pair of doubles scoring one run and driving in another. Joe Dudek, coming of his late inning defensive heroics on Friday had a pair of hits to drive in a run.

Benton Moss pitched eight shutout innings giving up just two hits and Trent Thornton closed out the game with an uneventful ninth helping UNC to sweep Boston College 6-0. Both Tyler Ramirez and Korey Dunbar homered to power the offense each hitting their team leading sixth home run of the season. Dunbar and Warmoth recorded a pair of RBIs each.
Notes

UNC has six ACC games remaining with a series at Notre Dame on the weekend of May 8th followed by a three game set in Chapel Hill versus Virginia the following week. With exams coming up, UNC will play just one game between now and May 5th, a Tuesday tilt versus UNCG.
