This has become something we've seen too often lately, Roy Williams sitting in the media room at the Dean Smith Center talking about a mentor and friend that has passed on. Williams called Guthridge a "perfect sidekick" for Dean Smith and a reminder that as great as college head coaches are, almost always there is a key assistant coach supporting them. That's what Bill Guthridge was for Dean Smith.
