Fayetteville Observer | Sammy Batten: The calmness Mitch Trubisky exhibited in the final drive against Pittsburgh will be important for him to take on the road against Florida State. His unflappability in a hostile environment will be key for the Heels to try and hang with the Seminoles.

Associated Press | Joe Reedy: Both UNC and Florida State have struggled to consistently stop opponents. The Seminoles have allowed 30 or more points to all three FBS opponents this season. Saturday’s game could be a case of whichever defense holds wins.

Inside Carolina | Greg Barnes: As a double-digit underdog on the road heading into Tallahassee, ESPN’s Football Power Index gives the Tar Heels a 19.6% chance of pulling off the upset.

ESPN | David Hale/Jared Shanker: UNC vs FSU should be one of the better match ups in the ACC this season in a game that could end up being a shootout. If Carolina wants to win, UNC has to stop Dalvin Cook. On the Florida State side, the Seminoles will need to stop Mitch Trubisky.
