Carolina Blue | Ross Martin: The North Carolina defensive line is finally silencing critics after yet another praise-worthy performance this past week. The players say that more time under Gene Chizik must have done the trick.

Athlon Sports | Andrew Kurkjian: In a review of the first half of the season, Mitch Trubisky and Donnie Miles were named team MVPs. In a preview of things to come, a healthy Elijah Hood and a stable defense are a must.

Inside Carolina | Evan Chronis: UNC shooting guard Kenny Williams worked hard to develop the reputation of a strong defensive player. Williams is hoping to use that skill, and improve on his three point shooting, to win more playing time.

Carolina Blue | Noah Grant: The Tar Heels continue to find success on the road after defeating tough opponents Florida State and Miami in Florida. Mitch Trubisky thinks the team feeds off the energy from the crowd.
