THB Staff Picks - ACC Week 8

There are some key divisional match ups this week on a less crowded ACC slate.

Losses by Miami and Virginia Tech last week made last night’s game in Blacksburg even more important in the race for the Coastal crown. Virginia Tech was victorious, winning 37-16. Michael, Jason, and Matt were the winners on that pick.

The Wolfpack took the Tigers to the brink last week in Death Valley, yet Clemson was able to remain undefeated. Can UNC-R give the Cardinals a scare this week? Vegas has Louisville winning by three touchdowns, and the way the Cardinals have played against top defenses this year, Lamar Jackson can make it happen.

Syracuse took down the Hokies last week (Thanks Orange!) for their first conference win this year. Boston College has not won a conference game since...? However, the Eagles are favored at home in this game in Chestnut Hill.

This year, the South’s Oldest Rivalry will be played in the town that Jefferson built. The Heels are an eight point favorite on the road, and a divisional victory will keep UNC one win ahead for the lead in the Coastal.
