Inside Carolina | Greg Barnes: Despite the fact that Nick Weiler had never made a game-winning field goal as time expired the way he did on Saturday, the routine to get there was not new to him. The Tar Heels practice the two-minute drill all the time to prepare for moments just like the one they faced in Tallahassee.

Fayetteville Observer | Sammy Batten: UNC’s win over Florida State has them poised as a real contender in the ACC. Wins over Pittsburgh and FSU are great ones to get, but the Heels face additional challenges ahead in Virginia Tech and on the road at Miami.

FOX Sports | Bruce Feldman: While the ACC is stacked with talented quarterbacks, the best one may not be getting the recognition he deserves, and he may wear light blue. Mitch Trubisky has been phenomenal for the Heels, and should find himself on the Heisman radar.

Associated Press | Joe Reedy: For the first time since 2011, the ACC Coastal division has three teams inside the top 25. Clemson and Louisville have commanded most of the conference attention in the Atlantic division, but Miami, UNC, and Virginia Tech all made their way into the poll this week, showing the gap between the two divisions may not be as wide as some believed.
