Goheels.com | Adam Lucas: The Tar Heels were completely outmatched by Virginia Tech when it came to protecting the football on Saturday. It was clear they weren’t as comfortable in the conditions as the Hokies were.

Fastbreak | Alex Kolodziej: Former North Carolina star and current Los Angeles Clippers rookie Brice Johnson has been diagnosed with a herniated disk in his back. The injury will keep him out of actions for four to six weeks.

Keeping It Heel | Zack Pearson: UNC recruit Sterling Manley recently placed North Carolina in his top four, alongside West Virginia, Xavier, and Purdue. He is now due to attend the annual “Late Night With Roy” event on campus.

The News & Observer | Robert Willett: The Tar Heels lost against the Hokies because they could not move the football down the field. This loss will change the dynamic of the Coastal Division moving forward.
