In case you missed it, UNC won two national titles in a span of 28 hours which is as many as a certain Triangle school has won in its entire history.
On Sunday the women's lacrosse team dominated Maryland early, weathered a Terp rally then extended the lead late to win 13-7 and claim the program's second national title.
On the men's side, UNC fought tooth and nail with Maryland surviving a man-up possession in sudden victory overtime before getting its own extra man advantage. Chris Cloutier ended a 25 year title drought for the program with a goal to knock off #1 seeded Maryland 14-13.
Here are the highlights:
Women: UNC 13 Maryland 7
Men: UNC 14 Maryland 13 - OT
