Greensboro News & Record | Brant Wilkerson: UNC is probably going to come away from the NCAA’s Notice of Allegations in a decent position, all things considered. Men’s Basketball and Football are likely safe after being removed from the NOA, so UNC’s forthcoming public response will likely be accepting in order to move forward without further damage.

News & Observer | Ben Pope: Izzy Brown, daughter of former NC State basketball player Chucky Brown, has decided to trade in the red she grew up with for Carolina blue. She already decided to commit to UNC over State to play soccer despite only being a rising sophomore this coming year.

Today’s U | Mark Carroll: Carolina’s bowl game against Baylor exposed the Tar Heels’ run defense, and concerns over that aspect of team haven’t fully dissipated since December. UNC is favored to win the ACC Coastal division, but cleaning up their defense against the run is going to be necessary to get there.

WNCN | Todd Gibson: Former Tar Heel Tre Boston has had an up and down career so far with the Carolina Panthers, starting strong before eventually losing his job and then gaining it back. Boston says he is now ready to take the next step forward in his career entering his third season in the NFL.
