UNC @ Clemson Gamethread

Saturday was awful for the Tar Heels. No two ways about that. Carolina went on the road and lost to an inferior team in a totally embarrassing fashion. The Clemson Tigers are a better team than the Yellow Jackets and Littlejohn Coliseum will be much less forgiving than the overwhelmingly pro-UNC crowd the Tar Heels saw in Atlanta.

UNC is going to have to play better in pretty much all ways to beat Clemson. The big men have to show up. Joel Berry has to run the offense and not just try to toss up shots from behind the three-point line. Can the Heels beat a zone defense if Clemson took notes from Georgia Tech? It remains to be seen.

Things will get pretty testy in Chapel Hill if the Tar Heels return to the Smith Center for a matchup against NC State on Saturday 0-2 in conference play. Let's hope that turns out to be an unfounded concern.
