A couple of big upsets in the ACC last weekend kept any writer from going undefeated in their Week 7 predictions. Despite the fact that North Carolina football has failed to bring us much joy, it looked for a moment like those who stuck with the optimism for UNC might be rewarded. Alas, it wasn’t to be.
Like usual, I asked the Tar Heel Blog staff to predict the outcomes of ACC games for this week. Here’s how everyone responded:
There are no unanimous picks this week, with Jake still bravely holding out hope for our Heels. Roger bravely picked Syracuse to upset Miami, and a couple folks put their faith in Boston College to knock off Virginia.
In terms of the standings, Matt still leads the way with a 53-10 record coming into Week 8. Daniel is just behind him at 51-11, and I’m not far behind that at 50-12. It’s a close race that is still anyone’s game.
