UNC Football vs Miami: Time, TV, streaming, and odds

How to catch the Heels in action against Miami.

NCAA Football: Duke at North Carolina Bob Donnan-USA TODAY Sports

Good morning, Tar Heels! It’s another game day in Chapel Hill as your University of North Carolina football team opens up the gates and welcomes the gentlemen from the University of Miami to Kenan Stadium.

Let’s face it, last weekend was the low point, and today sure looks like it has a chance of being even lower. Why? Seventeen are now out for the season, and one of the running backs who has shown some great flashes, Michael Carter, is out for this game. All told 21 players are missing this game. There’s not a lot of room for optimism.

All that said, thirteen years ago, a team facing very similar odds hosted a Miami team that may have looked past the Heels on their way to the end of the season. A freshman named Connor Barth delivered the winning kick in the Homecoming game.

Wishful thinking? Absolutely, but that’s why they are called upsets. Carolina has a chance to put a signature win on the 2017 season, if you can’t be there in person, here’s how you can watch:

Time: Noon

Location: Kenan Stadium, Chapel Hill, NC

TV: ESPN2: Jason Benetti with play by play, Kelly Stouffer adds color, Kris Budden roams the sideline

Radio: Tar Heel Sports Network, Jones Angell, coming off his first basketball high and more ready for the bye week than you are, doing play by play

Streaming: WatchESPN computer, ESPN app for phone, or TuneIn to listen to Jones.

Odds: Started at UNC +20.5, check for movement here.
