UNC Basketball: Davidson Game Thread

It has been an incredibly busy stretch for the Tar Heels. UNC played three games in four days last weekend, returned home on Wednesday for their ACC/Big 10 Challenge matchup, and now hit the road for a neutral site game against Davidson with a game against Tulane looming on Sunday.

There’s no rest for the weary, though. Davidson has played the Tar Heels tough, and Carolina can’t afford to not take the Wildcats seriously. UNC got their revenge for the beatdown put upon them by Michigan State when they dispatched the Wolverines at the Dean Dome on Wednesday. Hopefully they have another beatdown up their sleeve for tonight’s game.

If there’s one main thing to look for, it’s whether or not the Heels can effectively defend the perimeter. Or defend at all, really. The defense was on point in a big way against Michigan State before ultimately sort of disappearing entirely against Michigan. Shooters are gonna shoot and Carolina needs to be able to make their shot more difficult.
