Former Tar Heels guard Nate Britt is on the move again after signing with the Glasgow Rocks in the British Basketball League for the remainder of the season. Britt is expected to replace former Boise State guard Mikey Thompson, who suffered a season-ending injury earlier in the week.

Britt averaged 5.2 points and 2.0 assists per game mainly off the bench over four years with North Carolina. In his senior year, he proved to be a valuable player late into the season as the Tar Heels went on to win the National Championship.

Since graduating in the spring, Britt has been all over the place hoping to make a living as a basketball player. He previously played for the Atlanta Hawks in the NBA Summer League before making his way over to the Westchester Knicks in the G-League last month. There he played with former teammate Isaiah Hicks before heading over to Scotland.

The Rocks are currently in fourth place in the 12-team league, and Glasgow is happy to have Britt on their side. “We were looking for someone with a high basketball IQ, high skill level and a leader,” said head coach Tony Garbelotto in an official press release. “I think we found him.”
