We can’t ignore what Wednesday happened, so instead we’ll just move on. Today the Tar Heels play their last non-conference game against The Ohio State University down in New Orleans as part of the CBS Sports Classic. They’ll be across the street from the building where they won two NCAA titles including Dean Smith’s last one 25 years ago. Needless to say, there’s good memories down on the bayou.

Not able to be in New Orleans to munch on a beignet or suck a crawfish head (yes, people do that)? Here’s how you can catch the Heels in action.

  • Time: 1:30 PM (first game of the day)
  • Location: Smoothie King Center, New Orleans, LA
  • TV: CBS, Brad Nessler and Bill Raftery on the call
  • Radio: Tar Heel Sports Network (click for affiliates). Jones Angell behind the mic with Eric “Big Grits” Montross providing color. You can also listen on Sirius XM Channel 83.
  • Streaming: The good folks at CBS have an app, the game will likely be available only on the All Access, ie paid access, version. GoHeels.com or TuneIn if you need to stream the radio calls
  • Line: Heels -6 12 as of Friday evening.

OK, time to put Wednesday behind us and gear up for the ACC. Go Heels!
