UNC Basketball: Western Carolina Game Thread

Bring on the Catamounts!

It’s the last day of class for Carolina students, and the final basketball game before final exams for the Tar Heels. The most recent stretch has been a brutal one for the Tar Heels, having to make a trip out west for Thanksgiving and coming back to play four games in the past week. After this, they’ll finally get to catch their breath a bit.

UNC has looked very good since their lone loss of the season in the championship game of the PK80 tournament. The team has picked up convincing wins against Michigan, Davidson, and Tulane, and they’ll try to add Western Carolina to that list tonight.

Carolina has managed to weather the storm of injuries so far this season, with Joel Berry II, Cameron Johnson, and Seventh Woods. Johnson should be back in the next couple of weeks, and hopefully Woods will be able to return around the beginning of ACC play.

We will be back after the game for the full wrap up, as usual. Until then...

Go Heels!
