Playing Virginia twice in a couple of days is nobody's idea of a good time. The Tar Heels will have to do it, though, as a quirk of their schedule. This time they'll contend with the Wahoos at home where they are perfect so far this season. With the difficulty of playing on the road in the ACC, this could be a crucial factor.
The Smith Center should be absolutely full for this prime time weekend matchup. Carolina is trying to maintain their lead in the ACC standings while Virginia is trying to avoid their third straight loss. A major difference between these two teams is, of course, the tempo they like to play at. UVA wants to slow things down to a glacial pace while the Tar Heels like to run, run, run, and run some more. Something will have to give.
You can catch the game tonight on ESPN at 8:15 pm ET if you're not among those in attendance in Chapel Hill.
Go Heels!
