UNC vs Louisville Gamethread

It's a Top 10 matchup at the Dean Dome. The Heels are trying to stay perfect at home.

After taking care of business against Virginia on Saturday, the Tar Heels welcome another tough test into the Dean Dome this evening. The Louisville Cardinals are, like the Heels, currently ranked in the top ten nationally. Can UNC show the same kind of defensive toughness they exhibited against the Cavaliers? They'll need to do so to stay perfect at home this season.

The Dean Dome crowd was rocking against the Wahoos on Saturday, and the environment should be similar for tonight's game. It's a bit later of a tipoff, and it's a school night, but it's still expected to be at or near capacity. The team really seems to feed off the fans' intensity, so the louder the better. The road has been so hard for ACC teams this season, and asserting their home court advantage could be crucial for Carolina this evening.

If you're watching from home, the game will be aired on ESPN at 9:00 pm ET.

Go Heels!
