No. 1 seed North Carolina can advance to the Sweet Sixteen with a win over the Arkansas Razorbacks tonight in Greenville. Carolina got off to a great start in their first game against Texas Southern, and they’ll need to keep that rolling with a more difficult challenge awaiting them.
Both of these teams like to run, so it will just be a matter of who can do it better. It’s hard not to feel good about the Tar Heels in that respect. The status of Joel Berry II’s ankle that was rolled in the first game is still unclear, but the Carolina point guard felt confident that he’d be able to go tonight.
Everything went well for UNC in their first game in Greenville. Six players made it into double figures, all the post players feasted in the paint, and Justin Jackson’s shots finally started falling again. If all that is true again tonight, the Tar Heels should be in good shape.
You can watch the game on TNT at 6:10 pm ET. It will also be available for streaming at NCAA.com and on the NCAA.com mobile app.
