The Tar Heels made it to the Sweet Sixteen on the back of a 12-0 run to close out the game against Arkansas in Greenville on Sunday. To earn the right to an appearance in the Elite Eight, Carolina will have to defeat the Butler Bulldogs.
Butler has put up an admirable fight this season, taking out Villanova twice and Arizona once. They won’t be any kind of pushover. If UNC is going to advance, a good place to start would be one of their season-long strengths: rebounding. Butler doesn’t do it well and the Heels do.
Joel Berry II will hopefully be feeling better after turning his ankle in the team’s first game against Texas Southern. Although Berry was able to play against Arkansas, he was clearly not at 100%. He’s had a few days to heal since then, which will hopefully work to the team’s benefit.
There are no easy wins this time of year, but here is to one that doesn’t significantly shorten our life expectancy.
Go Heels!
North Carolina is rolling towards the program's sixth national...The redemption tour is reaching the believe stage. Joel Berry knew all along.
