With the Tar Heels’ national championship in basketball still fresh in everyone’s minds, the Carolina football team is set to make their first appearance of 2017 at this year’s Spring Game on Saturday. The game will be played at Fetzer Field instead of Kenan Stadium, due to some ongoing renovations happening at their usual place of business.

If you’re looking to head to Chapel Hill to watch the game in person, admission is free and the game begins at 3:00 pm ET. Fan Fest begins before the game at 1:30 pm ET. Parking will be available for free in the Craige Deck, Manning Lot, Bowles Lot, Bell Tower Deck, and Raleigh Road Visitor Lot.

The major storylines to keep an eye on for tomorrow include seeing the first glimpse of Mitch Trubisky’s replacement, when will presumably be former LSU quarterback Brandon Harris. He announced his transfer to the Tar Heels recently, and seems to be a virtual lock for Trubisky’s former gig.

With Elijah Hood’s about-face on leaving for the NFL, the Tar Heels will also be looking to replace their primary running back. There are a number of guys who should compete for the job, and seeing how the perform in the Spring Game could be a good indicator of things to come for August and beyond.

The UNC coaching staff has also undergone mass changes since the Tar Heels’ loss in the bowl game. How the new dynamic will work with a new defensive coordinator and others will be worth keeping an eye on.

If you would rather watch the Spring Game from home, you can do so on ESPN3 starting at 3:00 pm ET.
