Fantasy Friday: UNC Basketball Challenge 2nd Round

Four of our teams are moving on to the 2nd Round. However, that also means that this is elimination week for four of our squads. You can revisit the initial draft here and the 1st Round here.

Let’s look at how our bracket is shaping up.

Round 1 Recap:

The match-up between Akil and Chris was close until the last few days. In that time, Akil garnered enough votes to jump out to a 30-vote lead and the win.

Tanya and Chad had the closest match up of the first round. At one point, Chad was within one vote of Tanya before she was able to get a slight lead and hold on for the win.

Al’s match up with Andrew was never in doubt. In fact, Al opened up the voting at 54-0. This is reminiscent of a certain blow-out game in Chapel Hill last year. (Sorry, Andrew. He had Mike...)

Finally, the match up between Brandon and Jake was hotly contested. This game, more than any other, was fully and intricately broken down in the comments. In the end, Brandon was able to get the votes and get the win.
