ACC Football Week 3: Tar Heel Blog Staff Predictions

The Tar Heel blog staff puts on their prognosticating hats again for Week 3.

NCAA Football: Louisville at North Carolina Bob Donnan-USA TODAY Sports

As we move into Week 3 of the NCAA Football season, the Tar Heel Blog staff is back with more predictions for how the week will shake out. By popular demand, we are keeping track of how each writer is doing in their predicting this season. Jason and Matt lead the way so far at 19-3, but several writers are right behind them.

Here’s how each writer believes the week will go down:

UNC was a unanimous selection amongst the staff as the Tar Heels travel to Norfolk, Virginia, to take on Old Dominion. Carolina appears to be in a good position to pick up their first win of the season. NC State would have been a unanimous choice if it weren’t for the bravery of Evan in selecting Furman. Likewise, Roger was the only writer brave enough to take Boston College over Notre Dame.

The Clemson/Louisville looks to be the most compelling game on the slate this week. Both teams have looked pretty good to start the season, so hopefully their matchup lives up to its billing.

Florida State/Miami and Georgia Tech had their games cancelled due to the aftermath of Hurricane Irma, so the schedule of games is a bit shorter than normal this week. Perhaps Baylor can do us a solid and take down Duke to make everyone feel a little better heading into next week.

Feel free to agree/disagree or leave your own predictions for the week down in the comments below.
