ACC Football Week 5: Tar Heel Blog Staff Predictions

The THB staff lays down some more predictions about the coming weekend of college football.

NCAA Football: Duke at North Carolina Bob Donnan-USA TODAY Sports

Football hasn’t been so fun for Carolina fans everywhere. The results on the field have been frustrating, and the team just keeps getting hit with bad injury news. There aren’t a whole lot of lights at the end of the tunnel.

Regardless, we must press on. As always, I asked the Tar Heel Blog staff to predict the various outcomes of ACC games this week. Here’s what everyone had to say:

Unfortunately, optimism about our Tar Heels is running low for the majority of the staff. There are still a few bright souls who believe in this time of darkness. I have no words for the three who picked Duke to beat Miami. I believe it pained most of us to have to pick State to win this week. Everything is terrible.

Some of us had a good laugh at Louisville’s expense, even though it’s mostly directed at the basketball program. Some levity is needed in this disappointing season, and I’m willing to go outside of the sport to find it wherever necessary.

Feel free to leave your own predictions, or critiques of ours, down in the comments below.
