Basketball often overshadows football at UNC, and the same may very well be true this afternoon. Carolina football is hosting Lamar Jackson and the Louisville Cardinals while trying to avoid an 0-2 start to the season, but it’s safe to say that a large portion of the crowd will be looking forward to the basketball team receiving their championship rings during the game.
On the football side, it will be interesting to see the split of reps for Brandon Harris and Chazz Surratt. The offense clearly ran better with Surratt at quarterback last week, but Larry Fedora was not willing to make a definitive change prior to the game.
The Tar Heel secondary, which should be a strength for this team, was torched by Cal. Can they perform more to expectations the second time around? Hopefully they can, because Jackson may very well have a field day if they can’t.
