UNC Basketball: Georgia Tech Game Thread

Everyone except Virginia fans hate the style of play the Cavaliers employ. Well, maybe except Josh Pastner. He has his team playing every bit like Virginia without being Virginia. That pace of play is excruciating for most people, particularly when you favorite team’s philosophy is to run, run, and run some more.

Carolina will need to find a way to force the Yellow Jackets to play faster than they’d like or find a way to win a battle of limited possessions. Either way, their work will be cut out for them. Georgia Tech has picked up a couple impressive victories this month. UNC would be wise to take them seriously and avoid becoming the next victim.

The Heels are coming off a good win against Clemson earlier this week. They’ll be looking for their fourth straight conference victory this afternoon. Can Cam Johnson stay hot beyond the arc? Do Luke Maye’s stitches give him extra superpowers? We’ll see.
