North Carolina’s last game was undoubtedly disappointing. The Heels had a chance to pull off their second consecutive late-game rally against an ACC opponent, but they fell just short in Tallahassee. Virginia presents a very tough task next on the slate.
Charlottesville has been tough on the Tar Heels, losing their last four trips up north. UNC’s last trip to visit the Wahoos ended up being the lowest point output in the Roy Williams era when the Heels lost 53-43 after previously beating UVA in Chapel Hill.
The big thing for Carolina will be, of course, whether or not they can contend with the Virginia defense. The team surrendered 51 first half points to the Seminoles which almost certainly won’t be repeated in the game against Virginia. The Cavaliers are coming off back-to-back ACC wins against Boston College and Virginia Tech.
We will be back after the game, as always, with a full wrap up of the game. Until then...
Go Heels!
