UNC Football: Virginia Game Thread

Um...maybe this one?

We’re all clearly living in the upside down. It’s October 27 and Virginia has a legitimate chance to win the ACC Coastal. How did this happen? How did we get here?

Unfortunately for UNC, their stock has not risen the same as the Cavaliers’. While Virginia has found a way to take advantage of a weak Coastal division, UNC has left a number of winnable games without the actual wins.

Last week was one such game. The Tar Heels had every opportunity to walk out of the Carrier Dome with a win but they just...didn’t. Hopefully they fare a bit better on the road in Charlottesville this weekend.

The good news is that Carolina fans will basically accept any sign of life at this point. Just some kind of good feeling would be a welcome departure from most of what we’ve experienced to this point. Unfortunately, that would probably take a win at this point. They’ve been so close so many times.

If you’re looking for an actual silver lining, basketball is right around the corner.

We’ll be back after the game with a roundup of all the happenings. Until then, as always...

Go Heels!
