A tough road test for the Tar Heels.

The Tar Heels get an early taste of a tough road atmosphere in their game of the ACC/Big 10 Challenge as they head to Ann Arbor to take on the #7 Michigan Wolverines. These two teams squared off in Chapel Hill last season with UNC emerging victorious. Can they do it two years in a row?

Carolina will be back to full strength tonight with Seventh Woods back from a concussion that kept him out of both games of the Las Vegas Invitational. It’ll be interesting to see whether or not anything about the point guard dynamic has changed since freshman Coby White absolutely went off in games against Texas and UCLA over Thanksgiving.

We are entering a super weird stretch for the Heels in which they play just five games between tonight and New Year’s Day. It may be a good thing with Michigan, Gonzaga, and Kentucky all waiting before we make it to 2019, but it may also be tough if you are a big believer in rhythm. We’ll have to see how the Tar Heels respond to it.

You can catch tonight’s game on ESPN or ESPN3 if you’re looking to stream it online at 9:30 pm. As always, we’ll be back after the game with a complete roundup of the happenings. Until then...

Go Heels!
