UNC vs. Louisville: How to Watch

A fully-rested Heels team heads to Louisville to take on the Cardinals

NCAA Basketball: Notre Dame at North Carolina Bob Donnan-USA TODAY Sports

The Tar Heels managed to complete their three games in five days stretch, and after some well-earned rest are suiting up tonight in Kentucky to take on the Louisville Cardinals. This is the first game of a very difficult stretch for the Cardinals, with Duke, Virginia Tech, Virginia, and NC State waiting for them on the other side. For UNC, every victory from this point forward is huge in keeping double-bye status for the ACC Tournament. The games against Louisville and Miami are crucial with the standings being so tight, and so the Heels need those tie-breakers should they be able to pull away before the regular season is done.

UNC is 0-4 against Louisville at home, and are 0-2 against them in the Yum! Center. With Rick Pitino gone and the potential momentum carrying over from the four-game win streak, there’s a chance the Heels can make that all change tonight. Another thing to note is that Louisville currently only has one win against an AP Top 25 team in ACC play, so it will be interesting to see if Carolina is able to make it stay that way until the Cardinals have to travel to Cameron Indoor Stadium.

Here’s where you can watch and/or listen to tonight’s game.

  • Time: 8:00 PM ET
  • Location: KFC Yum! Center, Louisville, KY.
  • TV: ESPN (Mark Neely and Robbie Hummel as commentators)
