UNC vs. Duke: How to Watch

Round 2!

NCAA Basketball: Duke at North Carolina Bob Donnan-USA TODAY Sports

I suppose if there’s any game you would want UNC to come in with a bad taste in their mouth, it’s the Duke game. Last time out, the Tar Heels lost on a heartbreaking buzzer beater, but now they get to try and erase that by beating their biggest rival.

Not only is it a Duke game, but there are some things at stake for Carolina. For one, it’s a chance at a regular season sweep, which would UNC’s first since the 2008-09 season. The game also has seeding implications for the ACC Tournament. A win would guarantee North Carolina the #2 seed and a double bye. They still could get a top four seed with a loss, but it gets a little complicated if they don’t. The game certainly doesn’t need stakes, but it’s got them.
