This is the ACC, you don’t get many breaks or chances to compose yourselves. Just three days after getting blown out at home by Louisville, the North Carolina Tar Heels are back in action tonight, taking on Notre Dame at home.
This year’s Fighting Irish team aren’t quite as good as those from years part, as they come into Monday night in the 70s in the KenPom rankings. They have wins over Illinois and Purdue, but also have taken losses to Radford and UCLA.
However again, this is the ACC. There aren’t really any pushovers in the league. (Except for maybe Wake Forest. Sorry, Demon Deacons.) If the Tar Heels come out and play like they did against Louisville, this game could also go poorly. That being said, at home against Notre Dame is, on paper, one of the better chances they’ll get to compose them on the schedule. This game is not a must win by any means. However, it is definitely one that you really don’t want to lose.
