The Tar Heels need to step on the floor tonight with all memories of Saturday out of their mind. Carolina can get back on track tonight with a game against Notre Dame, picking up their first conference win of the season along the way. It looks like they’ll be without Sterling Manley again tonight, making Garrison Brooks all the more important. Hopefully he can stay out of foul trouble.
Everything went wrong for UNC when they lost to Louisville on Saturday. Their shots weren’t falling and they crumbled under the pressure. That level of offensive ineptitude seems hard to repeat, particularly two games in a row, which will hopefully lend itself to better results this time around.
If Carolina can play something resembling a complete game, they should be able to get back in the win column. I’d like to think they learned from the disaster against the Cardinals in order to ensure this one goes better.
As always, we’ll be back after the game with a complete roundup of the happenings. Until then...
Go Heels!
