UNC vs Virginia Tech: Game Thread

The Tar Heels have a bit of a tough test ahead of them in the Dean Dome this evening. Carolina picked up wins against Notre Dame at home and Miami on the road last week, but they’ll need to turn it around quick for a matchup against the #10 Virginia Tech Hokies in order to keep the good feelings rolling.

Virginia Tech picked up a win in their last game against Wake Forest in Blacksburg after losing to their in-state rival Virginia in Charlottesville. It was just their second loss of the season with the first coming against Penn State in the ACC/Big 10 Challenge.

For their part, UNC has looked good in both second halves of their last two games. The first halves haven’t been quite as effective, but they’ll need to bring it for 40 minutes tonight in order to pick up an important conference win.
