You won’t find many more heartbreaking losses than how the Tar Heels dropped last week’s game against Virginia Tech. It took six overtimes and multiple missed shots to win the game before UNC finally ran fell to the Hokies.

As painful as that was, the season is far from over. A bowl game, a winning season, and even an ACC Coastal Division crown are all within reach, just a bit harder to get to now with more work to do. The Tar Heels can get back to work starting with today’s game.

UNC will host Duke today as they try to gain possession of the Victory Bell for the first time since 2015. Both teams have had their ups and downs this year, but both are coming into this game off losses to Virginia teams. Duke’s came by a margin a tad bit higher than the two points the the Heels lost by.
