UNC vs. Pitt: How to Watch

Death, taxes, and UNC beating Pitt. That has been the story of this matchup over the past couple years, even as the Tar Heels went into a bit of a downward spiral. Last year, it was Carolina’s lone win over a FBS team, and the year before it was one of just two in 2017. Even weirder was that Pitt went on to win the Coastal Division last year, with their loss to UNC being one of just two regular season ACC losses they took.

There’s been some changes UNC since these teams last met, and now it’s time to see if the coaching change leads to similar results against the Panthers. Pitt’s having another solid season, coming into this game at 6-3. They’re still alive in the Coastal Division race, but they would need some help. Beyond just wanting to break their stream against the Tar Heels, they could really use a win for that reason.
