UNC Basketball: Battle 4 Atlantis begins against Alabama

The Tar Heels begin a tough test in the Bahamas.

For all of those who have work today instead of getting an early start on Thanksgiving, the UNC basketball team is in action to help us get through the afternoon. The Tar Heels kick off their portion of the Battle 4 Atlantis from the Bahamas, and they are getting back an important part of their team in the process.

Brandon Robinson has been out of commission since he injured his ankle in the exhibition game against Winston-Salem State. An expected starter for the Heels this season, Robinson’s presence has definitely been missed as Carolina struggles to fully gel their offense early on. Roy Williams said Robinson was not only expected to play against Alabama, but start as well.

The last couple games, although they have ended in wins, have been kind of shaky for UNC. The road certainly gets tougher from here, and Alabama is the first up in a line of games that will tell us a whole lot about this Carolina team.

As always, we’ll be back after the game with a complete roundup of the happenings. Until then...

Go Heels!
