Basketball season is here! After seven and a half long months since the loss to Auburn, UNC will take the court for the first time a competitive game tonight when they take on Notre Dame.
Not only will it be fun to see the Tar Heels in action again, this game will also be an interesting one for several reasons. For one, this is going to be a new look Carolina team. Between the incoming freshman, headlined by Cole Anthony, and the grad transfers, there are several new players who will be taking on a big role who we’ve never seen wear Carolins blue.
This will also be a bit of a tougher task than other season openers from the recent past. The Tar Heels are opening with a ACC game, against a Notre Dame team expected to be much improved in 2019-20. While UNC goes in favorites, this will be an interesting test to kick things off.
If you’re not headed to the game, here’s all you need to know about how to see the Tar Heels open up the new season.
