UNC Basketball: Gonzaga Game Thread

We’re a bunch of spoiled college basketball fans. Fans of so many teams would happily switch places with the success we’ve experienced in our time as fans of the Tar Heels. Fortunately, we do not have too many seasons where frustration is the first word that comes to mind.

This season has been a bumpy one so far and it isn’t expected to get easier without Cole Anthony for the next 4-6 weeks. It certainly won’t get easier tonight when the injury-depleted Tar Heels take on the second-ranked team in the country.

Still, our love for UNC has us here at 9 pm on a weeknight ready to cheer on our guys. For all the frustration and disappointment of a season unlike the vast majority of the ones we get, they are still our guys. They still deserve our support through the rough patches, so that’s why we’re still here.
