UNC Basketball takes on Ohio State in the ACC/Big 10 Challenge

Put on a pot of coffee and strap in for some late night ACC/Big 10 Challenge action from Chapel Hill tonight. The Tar Heels, ranked seventh in the country, welcome the sixth-ranked Ohio State Buckeyes to the Dean Dome following their trip to the Bahamas over Thanksgiving break. Carolina went 2-1 in those games including a big win over Oregon.

UNC’s offense has struggled to this point in the season, particularly when Cole Anthony hasn’t been able to put up big point totals. Armando Bacot had a breakout performance in the Bahamas, and the Heels will need their other freshman to continue making an impact as the schedule gets even more difficult.

Another point of emphasis has been the team’s woes from beyond the three-point line. Getting Brandon Robinson back will hopefully turn that around as he gets back up to speed, but the team also needs Christian Keeling to snap out of his shooting funk that has plagued the grad transfer through the first seven games of the season.
